Accessing Study Notes

Follow

The Lutheran Study Bible includes a wide array of information to enhance your study of the Bible, including a full array of study notes.  There are two ways to view study notes:

Drag up from the bottom:

  • As you read any passage of scripture, you will see a bar at the bottom that says "STUDY NOTES".
  • Any time you would like to read the notes that go along with the passage you are reading, just touch and drag that bar upward.
  • You can pull it up as far as you'd like, including all the way to the top over the scriptures, to fully read a note, and then drag it back down when you're done.
  • As you scroll down the page of scripture, or "turn" a page, the notes will advance along with you, so that at any time, dragging that bar up will show you the notes relevant to what you're currently viewing.

Tap a verse or passage:

  • You can also tap to highlight a certain verse.
  • Then you'll get a pop-up that allows you to select to add your own notes, view references or study notes, highlight, save, copy or share the verse in question.
  • Tap STUDY NOTES: to bring up the view as described above.  Note that if the verse in question doesn't have a note specific to it, nothing will pop up in this case.
